@DuckPlug Beautiful collection of sets, Love 'em! I have a question: What is the name of the BCC line from Sidepot that you have? (I forgot the name of that line... claiming Senior Citizen exemption here 🧓).
Inplays.

Love the chips. Probably the most underrated chips in the hobby.
The Paulson snobs just don’t get it and that’s perfectly fine with me.
The Quality control snobs also like to dog the chips. I think the chips are super unique despite some of their imperfections.
The sound and feel are second to none.

As much as I love my WTHCs (and they are the chips that got me into this hobby) once I got my hands on my first set of Inplays, there’s just nothing that comes close.

Paulsons should sound and feel like BCCs and thud like TRKs. Just saying! ;)

I'll go one further, I'd love a set of any BCCs, but especially a set on a good mold like cigar and snifter. I owned a set of the Fun Nites (hot stamps on the RHC-like sun mold.) The colors were stunning. I preferred the softer, leaded paulson clay to the BCC clay (which I think was also leaded, though I could be wrong) but that was just a coin-flip - I still loved those chips. I wouldn't argue with anybody who prefers BCC clay.

one of my bigger chipping regrets was not snagging this set. I was so close to pulling the trigger.

Then, re-listed at 3x the price 3 months later - lol.

I remember the first time I played with @DuckPlug inplay set and fell in love with them. BCC is starting to grow on me, but still nothing will beat TRKs.

Actual Rolls Royce of chips in this world. Nothing better.

You would have had to pull the trigger quickly. If I remember correctly I saw that listing 10 minutes after it originated and @Natumes had already dibed them.

I would have pulled the trigger myself had I seen them in time. To my knowledge, I think Nate still has the chips.

That was when I was living in the classifieds. I saw it as soon as it was posted and kept doing this… lol

I saw those too and the price was pretty damn good but I had no use for a tournament only set and there's no way I can play cash at those stakes 😲
What I like about the Inplays vs Protoges is the Inplays all have multi colored spots while the Protoges only have them on the higher denoms. I do like the Protoge inlays a little better than Inplay, but I'd be thrilled to heaven to own a set of Inplays!

Yeah bro! Way back on ChipTalk I was trying to describe what the chips are like to someone who wanted to know the difference. I had owned some older TRKs and newer BCCs and leaded Paulsons. I told them if you cross a (leaded) Paulson with a BCC chip you'd end up with something like a TRK chip. That was the best way I could describe it. Aside from the fantasy "perfect chip" I admit I loved them all but BCC is just my personal fav.
Why oh WHY did I sell my set of Mardi Gras v1 chips??? 😢

When describing TRK’s I find the term “bricks” to be the most fitting.

compared to other chips they just feel like bricks in comparison. I mean that in a good way.

TS is not about helping us. Tell them you're looking for certain chips and they won't give you first preference. They'll list them even higher if they know you're looking for them. A complete disservice to the community and it's centered around greed not chip collecting. There's nothing wrong with Capitalism but they go to the extremes.
