Yup! They ran out of $1 chips just a couple of weeks ago. Two more weeks for them.

I know! I went there today with the hope of harvesting some and they didn't have any on the floor. I was so confused. Then the dealer offered $0.50 cent real currency coins instead! HahaThey're running with no $1's??

That is really strange. I have picked up mint $1's in the weeks preceding the close (like right now) from several other casinos over the years. I am not a fan of the house molds for sets as it makes sets difficult to match so I wasn't going to make a special trip for these.
Maybe the idea of purchasing the remaining $1's of a closing casino has caught on. I am guessing that there will soon be many, many Trop $1's on e-bay for about $5 ea + $3 for shipping....lol
