I found this post to be interesting. Lets clear the air a bit. While most members have brought their PCF member name with them, some have not so I don't know if this is a mutual user (I assume it is as most things here aren't open to public view and the user cited some of that content), I thought I's address this as most know the reason PokerChipper exists and I really don't want any confusion.

As explained before, this site was born of necessity, the need to keep my sales data in tact and in my control. For one reason or another over the years at PCF I caught bans for what the admin or mods were deemed as violations of the TOS there. When banned I lost all access to my sales data as a vendor. I feel I was a decent contributing member there (some may disagree
) I try every day to educate myself in the hobby of chip collecting and the many different styles within, including the mysteries behind things like chip values and those illusive and secretive NAGB's and the profiteering behind them.
I started the site to accomplish just that, a place to operate the spa services and chip sales and keep all my data secure and un affected by anyone outside. I was currently a member at PCF and I directed folks to PC.C to complete sales and services. Usually through a text message and didn't mention PC.C openly or in PM's if possible, If I couldn't get a contact number, I did in PM. but in no way did I EVER just PM any members in an attempt to "steal them away" from there or spam anyone to pimp PokerChipper. There was no spite in creating this forum board, there is NO COMPITITION here, just a different vision. The site was started before my being banned with no ill intent or certainly no spite. I'm not sure where the site has any abundance of negativity toward PCF as I've strolled around looking for it and certainly don't get that impression.
As far as the "What little content" there is here, everyone is free to create all the content you desire and I'm always here to listen to constructive discussion, add forms, categories and features, just ask. we past the one year mark in November and have around 400 members 375 of which seem to be read only
but each day a member or two joins and I'm hoping it will develop beyond my need for the site regarding The Chip Spa, group buys and the like.
Along the way the site developed and took on what I think is different, a site not focused on the classifieds and an attempt to keep things light and civil with an extra focus on uniting singles and sets collectors together in the hobby so that each could understand the way we all collect and why. I also had more focus on free speech without the need to monitor every post and insure that threats of bans and punishments were a VERY RARE occurrence. Say what you want and live with what you say. There was enough to do without that hassle or to give anyone worries that the moderators will come down on you for what they think was improper or the like. If something was said that was offensive or vulgar a simple quiet delete can be done with a reason given and done. I'm not your daddy and refereeing hockey is more than enough for me, I'm not an internet speech referee.
In my final perma ban at PCF, the real reason given was never really understood by me nor clearly stated other than some insults by the admin and the statement that I violated his TOS. That's fine, his sand box, his rules. There is no intent to divide anyone, fracture friends and community members etc. We all have someone out there that for one reason or another doesn't like us, its just how it is, although with the dawn of social media it can be confusing how to take written text which adds the dynamic.
Anyway, I wanted to clear up for the poster and to everyone the fact that I have no Ill will for PCF or its members, I didn't spend what I have to create this site out of spite, it was either operate on eBay and others and pay way more or start a place to operate. I'm sure I made my feelings to Tommy known in a passionate email or 2 in the heat of the moment, but oh well as they say it is what it is and that was between us.
I hope that clears it up for Chippity and anyone else who may wonder or think the wrong thing.
