Manipulating like....
Selling a $15 dollar chip for $99.99.
Same seller selling the same chip in the same condition for $39.99. Looks like a deal after you saw the one for $99.99.

It’s interesting. Total unrelated hobby. I rebuilt an old Losi TenT. It’s probably close to 20 years old and long out of production.
Once I started buying parts for it on eBay, I noticed all the Ten-T parts prices started increasing, a lot, across all sellers.
I had to spend a lot of time searching for sellers who I guess weren’t plugged into whatever tracking/trending service the others had. This is not a collectible or anything, just a cool older RC.
I just found it interesting how quickly it seemed they all knew “hey some dude is buying TenT parts” - lol.

The same thing happened to me when I started buying chips years ago. I bought some chips for one price and I went back for more from the same seller and they were litterally priced $50 higher per barrel.
I can understand all the animosity towards Ebay sellers and many are just crooks. While there are some crooks on Ebay, there are quite a few good and fair sellers.
Agree Many more good than bad. eBay used to cross out the sold price if there was an offer taken but for some reason stopped that. I get it they want ebay sellers to get top dollar so they get top commission. SHADY PRACTICE!
