@Jerry Vergatos did you know the only restriction on disposing of a donation to the group within 3 years of receiving it is that you fill out a form for the IRS #8282 letting them know it was disposed of, and file a copy to the original donor?

There is NO OTHER RESTRICTION.

Someone once said the donation would be invalidated if disposed of within 3 years.... so in my planning I had it checked out, That is WRONG. In doing my estate planning I'm looking at what may become of my chips and a donation may be the best plan.

Hopefully I live a good long life but Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance. The 7 P's

What you say is true. Also, the amount of the donation has certain rules. I dont have any thoughts of asking for a tax break. I just donate to whatever club I like. Easier and more benevolent in my opinion
