Celebrating 50...

One of our longtime leagues we play in likes plan a trip to Vegas once a year...they switch it up from year to year...WSOP or November.
It's November this year and the organizer is turning 50...In Vegas...So there is 15+ of us going this time to help him ring in the big five O.

We arrive Sunday and will be playing a tournament mostly every day. The 11am at The Orleans will be the standard "go to".
Tuesday I want to go to Ellis Island, apparently if you are a 50+ "club member" you get a free 20oz beer and an appy for no charge on Tuesdays and Thursdays? I will test this out.
Wednesday is Aria day for us, we've never been!
Thursday is our buddy's actual birthday and dinner at Carmine's.

We will be back in June for WSOP, the 'mauler and the convention, so a lot of scoping and making of notes and reviews for next time.

Our place is on Harmon, the home stretch for F1...I am told the street is still open next week, we shall see!

Walking to Ellis Island…

Yesterday we saw the flatbed trucks bringing in the big red Ferrari shipping containers.

I can report this is indeed tru… ish. You need to have 50 credits on the card. So if you’re a regular, no problem but if you’re only there for one day… not worth it. I’m coming back soonish so slots and $5 craps it was!
