In relation to chip costs that casinos pay, I'd have to think that the price has to be low to the casinos from GPI as along with myself and others I can estimate that there was at least 20 or 25,000 brand new $1's harvested from the cage in the hall, and that's just the ones I know about!. Not to mention the 1000's of $5's. I would guess they made money on the harvested $5's maybe a loss on the $1's? I guess when the summer 2023 harvest season begins we will find out if there has been a change in the way chips are doled out if it was that serious.

The cage manager had to be scratching her head looking at all those extra empty racks after the event, but hey I think they lost a few hundred of those also!

I had fun with that. Before the WSOP moved to Paris is was hard to get any quantity of chips. The cage would not sell them and the dealers looked at you as if you were stealing from the casino. Now I didn't take racks of chips but I heard about tons going out. I wondering if they will be using Paris or Horseshoe chips this time around.

Yes I see that they put the wsop sign on the horseshoe building but the exhibit halls are at Paris. My bet is they won’t run the cash games in the halls this year. They’ll run em in horseshoe
