What's your favorite chip mold??

I think after all these years I'm still landed on the Top Hat and Cane (THC) mold 2nd only to the TRK small Crown.

Does leaded vs. unleaded matter to me? Not really, I think that's just a trendy sales tool that chippers have focused on to increase interest or profit on some chips.

If they're 10g or better the feel "right". 7.x meh 8-9.x getting a better feel 10+ Yes! doesn't matter how you get to 10 (Except slugs)!

And yes Real vs. fantasy is 100% important to me!

The imperfection mark above the ace die in all the chips adds so much character as well.

Leaded THC, but I legitimately love Excalibur and Caesars' house molds (aesthetic over feel on them though). Really need to try and find a solid condition $25 of the former.

Probably leaded THC but I’ve been expanding into different molds more lately. I really like horeshu mold chips and my 43mm bcc no molds are the best feeling chips I’ve ever shuffled.

A mold is a mold. Imo it's absolutely irrelevant if it's leaded or not/Fantasy or not.

THC > Small Crown > IHC > FHC > everything* else > no mold > RHC

HHR Mold, I just love how they feel and look as a whole.

I plan to have a custom set somewhere in the future, it's an expensive hobby and I can only afford to do a couple projects per years nowadays.

There are better TRKs to pursue. Just saying. I’m kinda meh on Money Trees myself.
TRKs are for the focused driven collector, the type who knows what they want.

A TRK journey isn’t like going to a smorgasbord and thinking to yourself……..I’m going to try those recently frozen steaming crab clusters closest to the heat lamp, they look pretty good.
