It not uncommon for non Color blindness guy to never think of the Color issue, but I hosted enough to know it good to make the set colour blindness friendly.

I found out that one of my crew is colourblind on Saturday night. He’d never said anything before but was retelling a story about how he struggles with red and green chips and often asks the casino croupiers to give him chips in only one colour.
I tested him with the quarter and 5 and he could tell the difference on close inspection but at a glance not so much.
We’ll (as in you guys) and I will workshop an alternate frack for the next Tina run.

On the issue of the 100 / 500 colour closeness. It was handled fairly well but again, my colourblind friend struggled at times as did one of the “elder statesmen”. She’s 75 and I constantly had to separate her dirty stack.
I’ll run a lighter purple on the next order.

Not the first to make this mistake!
I had to sub out my CDI $500s. They look very similar to the CDI $100s…same edge spot and similar color.
Same issue with HSI chips. The primary $100 and primary $500 are always a problem.
In regards to color blindness…We play in a game with starbursts and he avoids the green $25 chips. He tries to only have reds and blacks in his stack.
So what do you think of this...
1. Lighten the Purple to Lavender. I think Orchid is too light.
2. Daddy 500 and Mummy 500 have a baby.
3. Lavender 8V 500 is born. Shares the same edge spot colours as its Dad but gets its pattern from its Mom.

I like the new version. 8v spots help differentiate it more from the 100. I still love what you've done with this project!

Maybe dirty stacks with $1K tho? What about orange 8v edge spot instead of yellow? Just spitballing, I could be completely wrong never made try custom sets…still just love it.

make the alt $500 the new member chip and mage the OG $500 the actual $500 chip. Just swap the labels over.
I think there’s a dirty stack tool somewhere. I’ll have to try that out.
I did think of that as the easiest fix but I’m kinda set on a purplish 500. I think this will fix the 100/500 issue but if it just moves it to a 500/1K then a switch back to the OG it will be.
I can see that the 500 and 1000 could be an issue, at least in this tool. I can hardly make out the 1000's in the 500 stack.
I'm not sure the 500 and 1000 are any better here either. Maybe the Yellow is too light? Perhaps it needs to go darker to Canary.

Canary kinda helps with the Lavender chip.

Dirty stacks are ball ache, not gonna lie but that $1000 stack looks certified dirty.

Tina comparison is dirty but I’m sure the Paulsons are cleaner.
