New to PokerChipper Welcome, KingZilla

New to PokerChipper
Just a quick background on myself in the chipping Universe:
I developed "the sickness" in the early 2000's looking at the website Poker Chip Reviews. Back then there were websites for TRK, BCC, and places such as Holdem Poker Chips, Apache, Sidepot, etc. I joined ChipTalk the first year that site went up. I take the forum here titled "Chip Talk" as a homage to the old blue wall. :) I joined another chip forum after that and here I am now on Poker Chipper. I've owned compression clay sets from TRK, Paulson, BCC and ASM (Maine) along with a host of "lesser" chips.
Some of you may remember my name on those forums, maybe not. I don't consider myself a "high profile" chipper or forum poster. I've bought and sold quite a few within the "community" (a term that seems forgotten on other forums). I don't seek huge post numbers, or name recognition. I am genuinely interested in expanding my knowledge and sharing what knowledge I have. Because I am afflicted, I get excited about new developments and products in the chip universe.
I guess that's why I'm here.
Cheers

Great Intro!! Seems you've been at it (The Sickness) a while!

Chipper strives to be a community not a marketplace so you've found the spot perhaps! As far as huge post counts and "High Profile"..... Meh

Everyone here is high profile! and post counts don't really get you anything at the cage!!!!

Again WELCOME!

Thanks again. The marketplace aspect of forums is a reality. I'm not against that, but I agree with your sentiments that should not be the main reason for a forum to exist. I feel I AM at the right place. (y)
