Casino Crown Jewel
So, I’ve been messing around with this mixed set vision for a while and feel like it’s just not quite “there” yet. I’ve never been fully committed to the FLV $25’s, they were a back up when my original $25 resulted in dirty stacks.

I feel like this could be better… just kinda at a bit of a loss with it right now. I think it’s the $25’s (maybe the yellow labels..?)

Thoughts?

I think it looks great. If you want to get picky, then yeah maybe the $25 only because the other colors are more on the bright side, while the $25 edge spots are perfect the green has a very dull look, at least in this pic.

I also think your set looks good. I’m not the type of chipper who thinks there is any one perfect lineup when it comes to sets.

It seems folks who are always looking to perfect a line up always seem like they feel as though there’s just one little something or other that’s off.

True perfection is accidental when it happens. If you are mostly happy with your choices, then why question them?
And honestly, I think there’s a lot of sets out there that have weak $25s in them. My Pick Hobson set being one of them.

What’s perfect for you is what truly matters, why over think it? Wouldn’t change a thing with what you’ve got going there.

True - i had a vision to use the 20th Century $25’s and when that fell apart, it threw me into a bit of a swirl - lol.

So unfortunately that does not set well with me (luckily it's your set and not mine :p) but I would have to use a black hundo here with there being so many other colors going on
Yeah, couldn’t get past past the spot pattern either. I’m generally not too keen on mixing massively different spot patterns.

It tilts me (for whatever reason)
I would recommend something like the sterling casino 25 or the nugget 25, something darker based with more simple/basic edge spots

Where would one get Nugget $25's???????? But it would work! According to the auction sketch thread a Nugget $25 Rack must be worth $10,000.00

Yeah - I can see that.

I just luuuuve those $100’s and kinda like the fact it isn’t a black hundo - lol. It’s a tough balance though - to your point. A collection of individually cool chips without being a bowl of “skittles”. It’s a fine line :ROFLMAO:
