If you're interested in participating on a committee to explore a Convention/Show in the Fall of 2024 please reach out vis PM.

Date: TBD Possibly Sept/Oct
Venue: Las Vegas Strip hotel TBD
Items: Casino and Poker Chips Sets and Singles as well as all things casino related.
Some Goals and Guests: Poker Stars, Chip, Card and dice manufacturers, Personal Set ordering area, All clubs should be represented with a membership drive and educational exhibit.
Theme: TBD...... Bring in the Youth of the hobby for some fun!, Sets displays, Singles displays, Community, education......

Lets make this happen!

I have a much better chance of making a fall show than one on Father's Day weekend.
 
What about Chicago? Anyone interested in there?? I almost think it has to be Vegas.
 
Just a suggestion that you can take or leave. Go to casinorama in...Feb? count the number of dealer tables, then estimate the room cost (forget about the $5 admission fee, as most are comped). You will not get a positive number. Anybody disagree about casinorama?

I heard it was a total FLOP! That's too bad...
 
I attended one pre covid and there were maybe 6 tables...so even taking into account the cheap room at arizona charlies, it can't have made much if anything. I only went since I was attending another conference in town and stayed over an extra night...with that, + the cab to ac, it wasn't really worth it for me....lesson is that maybe...maybe....some parts of the market are saturated.

Foot traffic could definitely improve.
