There's a poker league here in Switzerland, where people compete over a season in teams of 2 players, with their aggregate scores making up the rankings.

The play in person, on physical poker tables, but the actual gameplay (cards, betting, etc) is done via iPads in front of each player. Personally, I find the concept ridiculous and just don't get it. Why not save yourself the drive to the various physical locations in that case and just play online??
