I find it absolutely HILARIOUS to read a response to "Barbara":

It seems to me that the NAGB perpetrators got the chips at casino prices and then sold them for multiple times that.
So who's throwing who under the bus to make a buck????

The Cruise Ship chips, AFAIK, were sold at casino prices, but only to the "well connected". Even though that sucked, In that instance no one made secondary profits. If these NAGB'ers can get the chips cheaply and they operate in a "community", then why not offer them at the price obtained - to EVERYONE in the "community"?? Ok, so they go to some trouble to conduct such an operation. Fine, add a few cents per chip premium to cover those expenses but not 6 - 8 - 10 X. I guess I've been around too long and expect the concept of a "Community" to mean something.
It's one reason I came to PokerChipper. I definitely feel more of the old "Community" here.

Since I'm the naughty one and forever a banned threat at PCF I cant help but post some thoughts here!

Not sure who this Barbara bitch is but she rolled in and got redic.

Did she have any valid points? Yes she did. (I highly regard my friends at PCF whether they signed up here or not its fine) but I see some there defending by specifically using only the BTP buy, which, may or may not have been done with some legitimacy and a claim that no one profited (bullshit) Only one other mention of EEST chips and no others which if I remember correctly was a brag of how a member or members invented a phony cruise line and indeed scammed Paulson, then GPI, now Angel Playing Card Co. into making the chips. Did Paulson know or care? Maybe, Maybe not. Regardless the crazy woman is probably right about deceptive practices and the law somehow but WTF you can now come to the US illegally and kill someone and never see a jail so to think anyone would come after a chip scammer is incredulous.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned the biggest scammer of all, Ol Ken. Talk about deceptive practice and gross profits from a guy that straight up fleeced the "community" and like the pied piper drew many followers. Again Angel must not care. I don't care if Paulson makes their new wafers for the public or not, in fact I wish they would but they developed a policy to promote security in gaming chips (currency) they sell to the casinos, a promise that not just anyone can produce and buy chips. I wouldn't worry about Angel coming for me if I got an order thru as I'm sure they wouldn't want to publicize to their customers (the casinos whom they make currency for) that they broke their promise of security to them.

I'm sure her days at PCF are numbered and as usual all the "community" rules broken in the attacks against her will be overlooked, shes definately not welcome with that BS here that's for sure even though seeing the longest most engaged threads are the dramatic ones complete with legal advice and full on mocking and degrading to include the usual "chasing off" of someone they don't like is interesting.

I've always thought the GPI convo was provoking to watch, one "side" chips to the people! and one profits to the "scammers", but Angel does what Angel does and will never say how or why. Oh well .......

Want Barbara to go away then maybe just ignore her no? No ones getting sued, no ones going to prison (that was funny), and getting Angel to produce $3 chips and then sold for $12 will continue NBD. Leave the crackpot alone, she'll implode. I don't see the point in attacking in what's supposed to be the "community" although it does produce content (maybe Tommy is Barbara :LOL: 🍻:alien:).

The bigger question is why is a $3 chip never associated with a (real) live gaming establishment selling for upwards of $20+ in some cases?????
 
I got some good laughs out of that thread, but decided not to comment over there. I have no clue who Barbara is, but she did make some valid points most hysterically laughed off. Not that I think the government would waste time in going after such case (but look what’s happened the past few years), but if they did, there are some people that I can promise wouldn’t be laughing nearly as hard. “Conspiracy” cases have a lot of different angles to them, and the NAGBs could easily succumb to conspiracy prosecutions. Again, I think it would be a ridiculous waste of time and resources, but if someone had a hard on to press the issue…

What I was most upset about in that entire discussion was the intentional misgendering of poor Barbara. Did you see how many of the “tolerants” referred to her as “he/him??” Can you imagine how upsetting that is to her??? Why are we not more cognizant and concerned of her feelings? What if she was forced to a safe space over such heinous and intentional violent acts?!?!?!

Sad state of affairs really. I honestly don't think they're related to Angel/GPI in any way. They kept bringing up shipping and transportation of the chips seems more like someone from the postal aspect of things.
Regardless I could care less 100% I wish people were not so nasty, both that individual and the "community"
It's all a mute point to me, people suck. End of story

But yeah I do agree, the country nationwide is in worse state of affairs and much bigger problems I don't think any one individual with authority is wasting time seeking out some poker chip transactions.

Personally I remember a time when folks seemed more decent toward one another. When we normalize “shit” as a society and stop calling “shit” for what it is, what you see is what you get.
I personally believe what you see now was the results of a little ol campaign slogan that simply said “hope and change.” Personally I don’t remember things quite being like they are now 20 years ago.:unsure:

You should care though. What you see today that aggravates you so much is a result of too many people not caring anymore.
Even if you caring is only noticed by just a couple people, maybe those couple people you impact will impact a couple more and so on. :unsure:

Here's another good one!! The guy who say's any of us that didn't buy Tiger Chips was "butt hurt" seems to be "butt hurt" that he didnt get an entry into the Custom chip HOF!!!

Maybe HE should look out for Barbarabooy as she seems to have not stumbled across his story! 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
